Cleaning and Janitorial services

Brief history on the cleaning and janitorial services

Here, the option of in-sourcing was adopted sometimes in April, 2017. A comprehensive document on cleaning processes and procedures was also drafted alongside this document. However, a list of some of some of the areas to be cleaned on a regular or scheduled basis is listed as follows: Restrooms, Kitchenette, Offices and receptions, Halls, Staircase, Aisles, Lobbies and External environments.

• They are also expected to manage air quality within the offices, auditoria, and restrooms.

• They ensure that all the external/internal surfaces within the facility, alongside the cleaning of all furniture and fixtures within all the office space, auditoria are kept clean always.

• They are also expected to carry out vacuuming of all carpeted floors and routine spot cleaning.

• On request, a deep cleaning exercise is carried out on quarterly basis on all carpeted floors within our auditoriums.

• Furthermore, they are also responsible for the cleaning and clearing of the refuse dump site after the waste management company must have evacuated the waste on a weekly basis.

• Here, a contract was entered into with the Lagos State Waste Management Agency (LAWMA) which in turn seconded ‘’ Richard Bradford’’ waste management company to be coming around to pick our waste on a weekly basis preferably on Saturdays. We pay the sum of N50,000 monthly for the refuse point at plot A3C, while an agreement was reached between us and the waste management agency on the picking of 71,Oregun road facility at the rate of N30,000 per month.

• General weeding and ground maintenance of all our facilities that are used for parking.

NB: after every pick, our janitors within the facility were the waste is been evacuated from would then take turns in ensuring the refuse point is kept clean at all time.
